Two things stand out when looking at this gallery: we think trains are a good subject and many of us have worked out how to use motion blur as a tool.
But not all of the images are from the railways and not all involve blur. That would seem to be the ‘obvious’ approach in illustrating this theme, but some colleagues were able to sit back (metaphorically) and think about how to represent speed in a more abstract way.
