This was the first Cuppa & Capture after the summer break so it is pleasing to see a good number of people submitting images. It could just be the frustration that people felt from having a long break from C&C, but I sensed an eagerness to participate more in C&C this season, at least for the capture part. It would be wonderful to see more people at the social gathering on a Monday lunchtime, but relevant images from wherever you are during the C&C week are very welcome.
The gallery shows the usual range of interpretations from contributors, although you would think that there is not a lot of wiggle-room with this particular topic! It occurred to me that I might have some photos that would fit this brief very well, if only I was able to remove the superfluous object or three. But I can’t believe that anyone would actually do that… would they!? Perhaps that is a discussion for another time.
The titles that photographers assign to their images can be quite telling – I know that some people consider a good title is almost as important as the image itself (controversial!) – so do look at these when you view the gallery.
