York’s Viking Heritage  Photo Walks, 28 May 2022

The weather god’s smiled on us for a grand day out in York amid the Vikings. Thanks to the Theatre Royal for providing access to our usual meeting place. Like the Goths, the Vikings like to strke a pose. Some great portraits, both in colour and monochrome, and action have been captured. There are even juxtapositions of the Old and the New. Perhaps some of these will feature in the upcoming Coppergate Woman exhibition,.
