This outing provided an opportunity to get together with fellow members for a glass of festive mulled wine or a mug of hot chocolate at the Winter Village (although, strictly speaking, served in paper cups!). It also gave us the incentive to take some photos on the theme of ‘Christmas songs and sayings’, which we could do in York, either before, afterwards – or anywhere or anytime that week. The brief was for each photograph to represent a title or line from a Christmas song (including carols) or a Christmas saying, and as you can see from the gallery, our members managed to come up with a wide range of ideas, and as always, submitted images in a variety of styles.
