Members clearly ‘sprang into action’ for the latest Challenge creating a bumper crop of images. The challenge was to create images with a connection to Spring that meant something special to the photographer.
There were stunning landscapes, images of birds, butterflies, blossom and even breakfast, a good selection of beautiful spring flowers, and some cute – and some less so – animals, depending on your idea of cuteness! An Easter bonnet, some socially distanced chicks and various decorative and edible eggs highlighted the celebratory flavour of the challenge, as well as some less welcome spring cleaning and looming rain clouds. And last but not least, there were some wonderfully creative artistic and abstract images that added to the range and variety of the submissions.
Well done everyone – after such a challenging year, it was wonderful to receive so many positive and uplifting images of spring.
