The challenge here was to put our widest lens onto our camera (*) and create images which use wide-angle photography to best effect.
In this gallery you will see photos that were captured from up close or well back, depending on the photographer’s preference and the focal length of the lens chosen.
For information: “wide-angle” is generally understood to be 35mm or wider on a full-frame camera, 24mm on an APS-C format camera, or 17mm on a Micro Four Thirds camera.
(*) As a number of us use mobile phones it is worth noting that on the Samsung S26 Ultra, for example, the full-frame equivalent of the Ultra-wide is 13mm and the Wide is 23mm
