Monochrome Interest Group

PLEASE NOTE: In view of the escalating Coronavirus situation, and in the light of the latest Government advice, it is with regret that future MIG meetings are cancelled until further notice. Please visit our website regularly for updates, where we will also be posting on-line opportunities for activities that might help to keep us all in touch and enjoying our photography.

The Monochrome Interest Group (MIG) meets monthly on a Tuesday, 7.30 – 9.00pm, during the main season (September to June) to share monochrome (predominantly black and white) images on a set theme. Recent themes have included Abstracts, Broken, High/low key, Minimalist, Perspective and Shadows. There is always an array of excellent images with an eclectic mix of interpretations and styles.

There is a slide show of members’ images on the set theme and usually also a short talk from a member of the group, followed by a cup of tea and a chance to look at each others’ prints.

If you would like to come to a meeting or find out more, please email, or if you prefer you can just turn up and introduce yourself to Roger Walton. There is a nominal meeting fee of £2.

Images shown below are just a small selection submitted for some of our recent MIG outings. Please see a fuller selection of images in the MIG Galleries.
