A wonderful variety of excellent colour images were submitted for the 2025 Xmas KO competition, from landscapes and natural history to portraits and architecture, including several images guaranteed to make us smile.
Well done to everyone who submitted, and congratulations to our winner, Julia Walton, for her beautiful image, ‘Fragile flowers’, and to runner-up Chris Sharples for a poignant image of his dad’s favourite view of the Langdale Valley in the Lake District, expertly captured. With so many excellent images submitted, it was hard to choose a winner, and it ended up being a very close contest.
