End of year review I

Our End of Year Review will again be split over two evenings. These evenings are a celebration of all our members’ work, with the opportunity for everyone to submit images to show, and we are very pleased that Mike Barnard has agreed to again provide constructive feedback on all the images submitted.

This year the number of images submitted will be a maximum of four per member. There will be no marks awarded and no ‘favourites’, but everyone will receive constructive feedback on their images on the night. We hope that members will find this useful, not only getting advice on their own images, but also hearing the feedback on the other images.

The images will be reviewed over two sessions, which are scheduled to take place by Zoom on Tuesday 12 and Tuesday 26 May. We look forward to it being an end of season celebration of the wide range of subjects and styles of our members’ photographs, and we hope that many of you will contribute.

SUBMITTING YOUR IMAGES

  1. You may submit a maximum of four images for review. These can be in any genres and with no restriction on colour or monochrome.
  2.  Your images can have been taken at any time. Images from Club activities are permitted, including Exhibitions, MIG, C&C, Challenges, Photo Walks and Outings, but not images that have previously been appraised in an annual or KO competition or showcase (it is your responsibility to check this).
  3. You must complete an image submission form. Please enter your name and fill in the titles for each of your images and number them in order of priority. If the total number of images submitted reaches an unmanageable number, priority will be given to your highest ranked images.
  4. The submission deadline is midnight on Friday 24 April
  5. Please upload your images into the ‘End of year review’ category on the new upload system, and please email your submission form to review@bishopthorpecc.co.uk
  6. Please see Submitting Images for details about how you should prepare your images, but we’ve kept it relatively simple and essentially it is similar to how you prepare them for activities such as Cuppa & Capture.
