The Yorkshire Arboretum  Cuppa & Capture, 11 November 2024

We were exceptionally lucky with the weather on this C&C outing to the Arboretum, with glorious sunshine and a mild day meaning a good number of members turned out – and the gallery certainly reflects the pleasure of being able to be outside on a sunny autumn day. The kind weather meant some of us also took the opportunity to even eat lunch outside- which is very unusual for November.  A thoroughly enjoyable wander around the spectacular grounds, the colours in the leaves didn’t disappoint, and the red squirrels were out and about if you were quick enough to spot them!

Lots of fabulous images in the gallery with stunning colours from the trees and leaves. Reflections over the lake and a couple of panoramas are there as well. There are also numerous images using creative techniques such as ICM (intentional camera movement), multiple exposures, triptychs, and even a whirlpool! Great to see so many of us experimenting with different techniques and styles, let’s keep those creative juices flowing!
