The story of a street  Cuppa & Capture, 28 October 2024

An impressive number of contributions for an outing with a bit of a difference this week, as the aim was to capture five images all taken in the same street.

Given that many of the images were taken in York, it’s surprising that there weren’t multiple sets of images of The Shambles or Stonegate – in fact, neither of those notable streets featured at all! However, there are other familiar streets in the mix, as well as less some well-known spots and streets in far-flung places such as Lincoln and Scarborough!

Since the five images from one street are best viewed as a set, you will see that the gallery is set up a bit differently, with the five images displayed according to the author rather than randomly. Please click on the images, as usual, to see the titles.

Well done to all our contributors and it’s great to see so many members turning up for a cuppa and a catch-up beforehand at York Theatre Royal.
