Photography: ‘Life in the Time of Coronavirus’

Whilst Club meetings are suspended, we hope to be able to continue to socialise (at least online) and to share images and photography ideas and projects.

Please keep an eye on the website for ‘challenges’ that you can join in with at home, and which we hope to set every couple of weeks. These will provide ways to keep us on our ‘photographic toes’, and help us to stay in touch through sharing our images. The gallery from our initial ‘A Pop of Colour’ challenge is here.

It is hoped that Cuppa and Capture will continue, even though we cannot currently meet up for the ‘cuppa’ or spend much time outside for the ’capture’. There are still opportunities for ‘capturing’ at home, either in your house or outside in your garden, and the next few Cuppa and Capture themes lend themselves ideally well to that (‘Spring has sprung’, ‘Intimate landscapes’ and ‘Dots, dashes and diagonals’).

Please join the Bishopthorpe Camera Club WhatsApp group and check out our Facebook page as these are both great ways to keep in touch during these unusual times. Stay safe, stay in touch and keep shooting.
