The Devil’s in the Detail Cuppa & Capture, 2 Oct 2023

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the little Red Devil on Stonegate has featured a few times. Apparently this used to be a print shop and the Red Devil was blamed for any misspelling. It’s also said to be unlucky to look into his eyes, perhaps bear this in mind when looking at the ‘Detail in the Devil’. Fortunately, he’s suitably small when viewed through Phil’s crystal ball.

The gallery is also home to devilish masonry and uncomfortable perches, patterned plants and panes and even some fruit. Somewhere to sit is the subject of a future C&C and there is a nice take on that in ‘Ambience’ by Andy Chamings to get you thinking.
