Simplicity  Cuppa & Capture, 29 Jan 2024

Well, it was a grim old day on Monday 29 and that’s reflected in the numbers in the gallery. Clearly, some of us took the opportunity to try something new or venture out later in the week when the weather allowed.

There are a wide range of interpretations on the theme of ’Simplicity’ with emphasis on shapes, tones, lines. It’s great to see people embracing the shadow tones and there are several striking monochrome silhouettes. However, the gallery certainly isn’t devoid of colour, with traces of autumn hues and also some signs of spring. Clearly, the conditions didn’t detract from the quality or variety of the images in the gallery. Enjoy.
