Ripley Show Photo Walks, 14 Aug 2022
A scorching day deterred all but the hardiest folk from venturing out. It was warm enough to melt the jelly in a pork pie and some of the animals were wilting. For those who made it there was plenty to see and photograph even though a few events could not be held in the heat.
The owners were friendly and happy to chat and have their pictures taken. The grooming and preparation was fascinating, who would have thought that you polish your cow’s horns and powder your horse’s feathers.
As there were only four of us we’ve allowed extra images to make a gallery of some of the human and animal characters as always with a variety of styles. Hope you enjoy it!
