This year, we had a day of festive photography that included two social get-togethers, one over lunch at York Theatre Royal as usual for a Cuppa & Capture outing, and for those busy at lunchtime, another in the early evening for mulled wine and relatively exotic hot dogs in the warmth and festive atmosphere of the Thor’s Tipi in the Museum Gardens.
Many thanks to those of you who took part in these gatherings. We hope that you enjoyed the company of fellow members, which was always intended to be one of the main aims of the day.
Thanks also, of course, to those of you who submitted images, whether or not you could be there on the day. As 12th night passes and we take down our own decorations for another year, these images will remind us of the ways in which we illuminate, enrich and enhance the spirit of Christmas, both in York and further afield.
