Ripon – Photo Walk

We have planned an interesting circular walk starting and finishing at the Sun Parlour Café. Our walk crosses over the Spa Gardens then takes in footpaths following the course of parts of the River Laver and River Skell. Don’t overlook visiting the Fairy Steps near the Rustic Bridge. We take some interconnecting pathways between various old and interesting buildings including Ripon Cathedral containing an ancient Saxon Crypt. The Ripon Workhouse Museum on Allhallowgate could be worth a visit too. Entrance to the Cathedral is free, however if you want to take photographs which we do recommend, they ask that you purchase a license for £3 at the Cathedral shop first.
